Rock and Stones

This collection of rocks and stones was created for the game Mimicry by Icarus Alpha. The assets were designed to be modular and suitable for environmental set dressing.

The rocks were generated in Blender starting from an icosphere base mesh. An explode modifier was applied to fracture the mesh into multiple irregular pieces. Each fragment was then separated into individual meshes, allowing me to evaluate and select the most visually interesting shapes. The selected pieces were refined and optimized to function as standalone rock assets that could be reused throughout the environment.

This workflow allowed for the rapid creation of natural-looking rock variations while maintaining efficient topology suitable for real-time use.
