Fang Sword from Blue Exorcist

Shura Kirigakure's Sword - Blue Exorcist

I did a recreation of Shura Kirigakure's sword (Fang) from Blue Exorcist for a personal project that featured the sleek design and iconic quality. My intention was that the sword be elegant but lethal. It should look good still or moving.
The model was created in Maya 2024, with textures created by hand in Procreate, and rendered with Unreal Engine and D5 to test various lighting effects and ways of displaying those effects. This was a very enjoyable project to 3D-ize, particularly in trying to capture an anime aesthetic with a realistic material set.
